Aug 26th

As of this writing, 6 yards have been completely finished for the season, all the honey boxes are off, and pails of winter feed have been put on to fatten up the hives to face the long winter.  The bees in the north seem to be making honey still, but everything in my local area is pretty much dried up.  We’ll finish the yards close to home this week, and then decide when to start winding things down up north.

Unfortunately, no rain = no honey.
